　　Our client is seeking a Software Design Engineer with experience in embedded platforms with a focus on Intel and ARM-based networking appliances. In this position, you will get to work with the latest technologies and help define/design creative solutions to meet customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams in the US and overseas.

　　• Design and develop system-level software for new product introduction (NPI) and customer demonstrations

　　• Customize and validate boot loaders

　　• Design, develop, and automate manufacturing software

　　• Develop software and support hardware agency certifications as well as certifications with cellular service providers

　　Design and develop board support packages for hardware testing, validation, and debuggingSkills:

　　C++

　　Embedded C

　　Microcontroller

　　Embedded software

　　Linux

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　• 5+ years of embedded software experience

　　• Strong C/C++ and scripting skills with embedded systems

　　• Strong Linux skills. Experience with Linux kernel and driver development and build process

　　• Ability to read schematics and data sheets with hands-on experience debugging platforms

　　• Experience with developing and testing boot loaders for X86 and/or ARM processors.

　　• Experience with edge networking protocols (LAN, WAN, WIFI, LTE, 5G, etc…) is highly desired

　　• Experience with secure boot development and TPM is highly desired

　　• Experience developing software and system-level specifications is highly desired

　　• Good working knowledge of revision control and code review tools like Git

　　• Excellent team player with strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential
