　　Email Marketing Specialist

　　Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly professional Email Marketing Specialist to join us in our Scottsdale, AZ; Lansdowne, VA; Atlanta, GA or Washington DC office. As the Email Marketing Specialist, you are a vital part of the Communications team. In this role, you will report to the Email Marketing Manager and play a critical role in helping to create and execute direct marketing and fundraising marketing strategies. Your main duties include developing marketing emails and email marketing automations utilizing various email service providers (ESPs). You will work with a team to craft email journeys that will help deliver the right message to the right audience at the right moment, thereby improving our user engagement, retention, and revenue.

　　Your Essential Responsibilities:

　　In this position, you will:

　　Support the creation and execution of email marketing and marketing automation communications.

　　Identify, test, and implement new strategies to improve click-through, open, and conversion rates.

　　Help identify relevant leads for our teams through segmentation, grading, scoring, and conversion funnel analysis.

　　Build responsive, landing pages as well as personalized customer journeys.

　　Create, format, proof, and test emails to support our marketing automation and general communication strategy.

　　Maintain overall email file health by building re-engagement strategies, file purges, and email verification.

　　Monitor and minimize unsubscribe/bounce/complaint rates and ensure spam regulation compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM)

　　Report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually on campaign performance and established KPIs.

　　Analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to deliver continuous improvements to email campaigns.

　　Skills you need to succeed:

　　Knowledge of:

　　HTML and CSS (JavaScript preferred)

　　Google Analytics / Looker Studio (or related analytical tools)

　　Demonstrated proficiency in:

　　Microsoft Office Suite

　　Basic graphic design

　　ESP/Marketing automation software (Pardot and Hubspot preferred)

　　Design and wireframing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, PhotoPea)

　　Project management software (Wrike, Asana, Clidkup, Jira)

　　Ability to:

　　Be a self-starter

　　Think strategically, execute quickly, and drive multiple objectives simultaneously with strong attention to detail

　　Troubleshoot problems and create solutions

　　Handle multiple tasks at one time

　　Work within a team environment as well as independently

　　Work under pressure / tight deadlines

　　Education and/or experience:

　　Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

　　2-5+ years of demonstrated email marketing experience

　　Non-profit experience preferred
