YOUR DUTIES AT A GLANCE: In this position, you will: \'Determinefinancial eligibility for Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS)programs, including but not limited to, Medicaid/Medical AssistancePrograms, Supplemental Assistance Program (SNAP), Employment Related DayCare (ERDC), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).\'Process applications that are new and re-certifying by reviewing theapplicant\'s financial and non-financial situations. \'Determineeligibility correctly and in a timely manner by following complex rulesand policies which includes gathering appropriate documentation for theelectronic case file. \'Refer applicants with additional needs toappropriate agencies. WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY/MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS(MQ\'s): \'2 (two) years of experience determiningeligibility for an agency program by interviewing to assess the needs ofclients, and interpreting and applying the policies, rules, andguidelines that are applicable to the client\'s situation. \'Any collegecourses may be substituted for the two years of general experience on ayear-for-year basis (45 quarter hours is equivalent to one year ofexperience).
