JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position maintains, repairs, and calibrateselectronic systems and equipment for the institution. The position alsowill plan and install new electronic security systems includingmodification and expansion of present systems. maintain, repair, andcalibrate the most advanced and complex electronic systems andequipment. May need to respond to calls for emergency repairs during offhours. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge ofprinciples, practices, methods, material and techniques of the mostadvanced and complex electronic security hardware installation andrepair; computer and security related electronic systems; function anduse of test equipment such as test sources, test meters andoscilloscopes; institution rules, policies, procedures and philosophy.Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair systems containing tubes,semi-conductors and integrated circuits and a wide variety ofspecialized electronic equipment and computers; interpret drawings,specifications and schematics of complete systems; work effectively withcontractors, consultants, engineers and staff.
