SUMMARY

Responsible for the research, design, selection, development, test, documentation, configuration and support of the electronic components, products and systems for high precision instrumentation. May also do significant amounts of programming and configuration of these devices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Electrical Engineering or similar

• 3+ years of experience in electronics system design and development.

• 3+ years of experience in PCB circuit design, including both digital and analog circuitry. Experience in PCB schematic capture and layout with Eagle or similar PCB design tool. Ability to generate and edit Gerber Files.

• 2+ years’ experience in Digital Control Systems.

• Experience with engineering bench equipment, power supplies, DVM, oscilloscope, analyzers, signal generators.

• E xperience in Altera/Intel PLD programming with the Quartus II design tool, or similar FPGA/PLD and tool.

• 2 + years’ experience using an IDE for the programming, configuration and debugging of digital devices (Assembly, C, C++).

• Ability to write requirements documents, test plans, and user manuals also required.
