About Electronic Research Administration and Process Development Specialist

  ResponsibilitiesThe Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) is a central support office at Seattle Children's Research Institute (SCRI), with primary responsibility and delegated authority by the SCRI President's office to solicit and accept and/or execute extramural grants and contracts on behalf of the organization (pre-award management). As part these efforts, OSR utilizes Click Grant and Contract Management System (Huron Research Suite) among other systems. In addition, OSR is responsible for development and communication of policies and procedures governing the pre-award management at SCRI. Data Integrity and Policy/Procedure Development Officer will perform a leading role in quality assurance of data in Click and other systems which involve OSR data entry and management functions. In addition, the successful candidate for this role will solicit information from and facilitate collaborations with other stakeholders for the purposes of developing written policies and procedures and relevant training materials covering the various steps in pre-award management at SCRI. The successful candidate in this role will also work on special projects and special pre-award related initiatives with OSR and SCRI leadership that focus on managing and improving research administration at SCRI.RequirementsRequired Education/Experience:Bachelors Degree or additional experience.Minimum of five (5) years pre-award experience within the grants and contracts area.Demonstrated working experience development and/or management of data sets used at an enterprise level.Demonstrated experience in process development and documentation and/or technical writing preferably with emphasis on business process, policy, standard operating procedures, and related training materials.Required Credentials:N/A.Preferred:Bachelor's Degree in Data Management/ Analytics or formal education in Research Administration (Certificate, Bachelors, or Master's).Experience in Research Enterprise within an emphasis on Electronic Research Administration with an information technology background.Project Management preferably in Research Administration/Electronic Research Administration.CRA (Certified Research Administrator).Min to Max Hourly Salary$44.46 - $66.69 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$92,476.80 - $138,715.20 /yrSalary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
