JOB DESCRIPTION
The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You'll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You'll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.
This position will be responsible for monitoring low scoring (Q1 Score) Suppliers of Electrified Systems commodities. The suppliers with scores below 90 will be contacted for Q1 score improvement plans.
Sound Quality understanding with problem solving skills is required for this position.
The Quality Analyst will drive Supplier Warranty Recoveries while working with the OPD, Recovery and Finance teams. The Analyst will follow recoveries through the main steps for each recovery work steam (Low Incidence, GWC and Spike) ensuring the recovery is completed within the forecasted recovery time period.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position...
You will monitor and report on the Electrified System Vehicle Warranty, warranty claims for EVs, cost recovery status, issue closure (PCA/Prevent Recurrence), and update monthly presentations on Leading EVs.Monitor ES supplier recoveries and drive completion at forecasted dates, understand cost recovery work-streams, track supplier recoveries for ES vehicles, and ensure process is followed.Monitor ES Supplier Q1 Progress and suggest Q1 score improvement strategies based on their status for Q1 status, highlight low performing Q1 suppliers, and identify opportunities to improve ES Supplier Q1 avg score.
What you'll do...

QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering degree.2+ years of experience similar to Supplier Quality Engineering, Product Development or Plant Vehicle Engineering teams2+ years of experience in 8D Problem Solving Process and/or DMAIC process.Some background in Supplier ManagementProficient in MS office (Word, PPT, Excel)
