Description:
Advising install team on electrical installation for a new glass melting and manufacturing facility in Texas
The advisor would be responsible to review and interpret the existing electrical drawings, answer questions, make decisions to coordinate with and advise the electrical contractor regarding the preferred installation method to meet codes and the customer's expectations regarding the ongoing and remaining electrical installation work.
supervising the electrical install of both industrial production equipment and facilities electrical
supervising tasks such as grounding cable trays, pulling and installing conduit, referencing electrical codes
working with Medium voltage and low voltage, ranging from 12.5kv down to 120v related to electrical installations practices standards, NEC
will be opening and manipulating files in AutoCAD electrical but WILL NOT BE designing
inputting data into Excel and creating excel files to track measurables
-generating and updating field progress report
Candidate will be working out of Waco Texas for the first project which will run through July, the next project location is TBD. This should be considered an indefinite consultant and the minimum duration is 6 months.
100% TRAVEL REQUIRED working 6 weeks in a row on-site, off 1 week (paid with no work!) then back traveling for another 6 week rotation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
5+ Years of industrial electrical experience 110v, 240v, 480v, 12.5Kv
experience leading and coordinating manufacturing projects
OSHA 10 And / OR OSHA 30 training within past 5years
AutoCAD exposure (will not need to design)
fluent with all MS office products, Excel and Outlook
-experience with reporting for electrical or manufacturing projects
electrical insstallation experience
experienced with Medium and Low voltage 12kv to 120v
NICE TO HAVE:
journeyman electrician cert.
OSHA 30 training recent
AutoCAD electrical design
project management
