　　Stantec is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer (Building Services Engineering) to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi.

　　Some of the key job responsibilities of this role entail the following:

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　• Monitoring the Electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.

　　• Ensure response to necessary construction documentation, including but not limited to review of shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals.

　　• Support the efforts of the inspectors to ensure all documentation is reviewed and properly translated into a constructed product which meets requirements and specifications.

　　• Reviewing, approving and processing all Electrical technical submittals.

　　• Prepare preliminary answers RFI’s related to Electrical works.

　　• Coordinating and supervising the pre-installation work of selected Electrical activities and operations. Reviewing contractor’s Electrical change order proposals and preparing recommendations to the Senior Electrical Engineer.

　　• Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.

　　• Assist with the review of contractor’s claims related to Electrical works and preparing recommendations for claims.

　　• Assist with the review of contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.

　　• Assist with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the Electrcial works.

　　• Prepare “sign-off” package for completed Electrical works with completed documentation for sign-off by Senior Electrical Engineer.

　　• Perform all other duties given by MEP PM.

　　Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines: Electrical Engineering

　　Minimum Seven (7) years’ experience with minimum of Three (3) Construction Administration preferably with International Consultancy
