　　Must have: Electrical Engineer with Power design experience

　　Role doesn’t require a Professional Engineer license, but would like to see candidates who are interested in working towards getting their license

　　Seeking candidates who would be interested in moving into a lead electrical engineer role in the future

　　Previous telecommunications industry experience is NOT required, however previous power design experience is required. Main focus for the role will be designing power to cell sites.

　　TEKsystems Is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Electrical Engineer to support our site development projects in the wireless telecommunications industry. The EE will work across a variety of functional groups including site acquisition, design and construction. The ideal candidate is a problem solver employing practical and innovative design solutions. 　　Responsibilities include:

　　• Design normal power and lighting systems including site plans, one-line diagrams and distribution system details

　　• Design grounding and lightning protection systems including grounding plans, riser diagrams and grounding system details

　　• Design emergency power systems including generator plans, configuration diagrams and control system details

　　• Work with clients, project managers, field personnel and CAD designers to complete electrical construction drawings

　　• Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects

　　• Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Minimum requirements:

　　• 2-5 years electrical engineering experience

　　• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or an Engineering-In-Training certification with desire to obtain PE registration

　　• Competent in the use of standard business software

　　• Understanding of physical elements of electrical distribution systems

　　• Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as needed

　　• Excellent written and oral communication skills
