　　Job Description

　　I. POSITION SUMMARY

　　Sr. Electrical engineer shall play a critical role in the team to deliver safe, fit for purpose electrical designs to an agreed schedule to meet a pre agreed budget which will enable world class execution of Industrial gas plants across the globe.

　　Sr. Engineer shall have electrical design skills involving Substation design, Unit engineering, system engineering, procurement assistance to support Lead Engineer for handling medium to large size projects.

　　The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in, Electrical Engineering, with relevant work experience in electrical design.

　　II, NATURE AND SCOPE

　　Sr. Electrical Engineer is one of the key members of the design team having responsibility for the electrical design. Based on the execution strategy. The Sr Electrical Engineer will be responsible for performing electrical engineering/design of projects built by Air Products locally and globally.

　　III. DIMENSIONS:

　　Sr. electrical engineer supports the lead Electrical Engineer on the project and technical interface with AP project execution teams. The primary purpose is the delivery of a safe, fit for purpose electrical design to an agreed schedule and construction budget.

　　Responsible for preparing & reviewing electrical design documents on a project.

　　Safety and rigorous adherence to relevant specifications and standards for all Electrical deliverables.

　　Providing support to other AP engineering centers as per support requirement.

　　IV. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

　　Preparation & Review of documents & calculations for Proposal, Basic and Detail Engineering like plant & building layout engineering, plant and building calculations, Single line diagram, Hazardous area classification design, schematics, schedules, various calculations, and 3D model interface.

　　Preparation & Review of Material Requisition, vendor offers, TBA sheet and vendor document for electrical items like PDC/Prefabricated Substation, MV and LV Switchboard, Transformer, Capacitor, UPS, Battery Charger, LV and MV VFD, LV and MV Motor, cable, electrical bulk material etc.

　　Preparation & Review of various system study document like Load analysis, Load flow, Short circuit, Motor startup, Re acceleration study, arc Flash, Transient stability study, etc.

　　Pocurement support mechanical team for complete engineering cycle of Mechanical packages.

　　Engineering and design of complete Electrical Heat Tracing system.

　　Co-ordinate for various vendor supplied system such as security, CCTV, Telecom, PA and Fire Alarm System.

　　Travel to site to support field engineerg, successful commissioning and start up of the plant.

　　Participation in FAT for various critical electrical equipment.

　　V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

　　Experience to manage small team of engineers and designers to carryout engineering.

　　Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication & Interpersonal skills is must

　　Experience working with review tools like Free View and SPR is desirable.

　　Experience working with tools like SPEL, ETAP, SKM power Tools, Digsilent is desirable.

　　Experience of working with various international standards like IEC, NEC, Saudi Aramco etc.

　　Must be familiar with an engineering organization, the function of each discipline and interdepartmental interfaces.

　　Experince to create and carryout inhouse technical trainings for junior team members.

　　Participation in FAT for various critical electrical euipment.

　　Site experience/coordination with site team will be an added advantage.
