  The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate or Experienced Electrical Engineer Environmental Control System (ECS) Design Engineer to join the ESC-EUM 1 team in Everett, WA .

  As a member of the Electrical team, the candidate will work with Design Approval Engineers (DAEs), other Engineering Unit Members (E-UM’s), cert engineers, Regulatory Administration and project managers to establish technical direction, integrated designs and appropriate schedules and priority for assigned projects. Provide technical integration, communication and certification guidance for the BGS Electrical team for post modification changes.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements

  Designs hardware, software and interface specifications

  Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

  Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

  Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

  Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location .

  Basic Qualifications (required skills/experience):

  BS in Electrical Engineering

  1+ years of Electrical Engineering experience

  FAA Certification, DER, AR or E-UM

  Preferred Qualifications (desired skills/ experience):

  7-10 years of Electrical Engineering experience

  Masters degree in the field of Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace

  Airworthiness representative

  Typical Education/experience:

  (Level 2- Associate)

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  (Level 3- Experienced)

  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  Relocation:

  This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range: Level 2- $85,850 – $116,150

  Summary pay range: Level 3- $102,850 – $139,150
