We're seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer Designer in our Phoenix, AZ office.
Capabilities in technical analysis and for resolution of engineering problems.
Supervise subordinate engineers, designers, and drafting staff. Provide direction
and coordination of electrical design for projects in all assigned categories
Industrial, Commercial, Manufacturing, Institutional, Health Care, Educational,
Government, (National, State, Municipal), Retail, Renovations, and Historical
projects.

Essential Skills must include but are not limited to the ability to:
Prepare electrical designs for large scale projects.
Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control
systems, and equipment specification and selection.
Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
Prepare and estimate workload hours for formal proposals to clients.
Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers, and support personnel.
Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and
clients.
Manage a design group comprised of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical
disciplines for large scale projects.
Essential Qualifications
Licensed as a professional engineer, by exam, in state of residence with the
ability to be licensed in multiple states.
Must possess superior engineering skills.
Must have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be
familiar with applicable codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices.
10+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial or institutional electrical
engineering design
5+ years as a project electrical lead designer
Educational or career track in electrical Engineering from an accredited
engineering school or company
Must have experience as a project leader on complex, multi-discipline
engineering design or EPC projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with preparing
specifications and contract documents.
