Position: Sales Engineer (East Coast) - Network Storage Technologies
Our client is a pioneering force in storage technology validation and end to end testing. They are seeking a driven Sales Engineer with an NVMe background to drive net new business development efforts on the East Coast. Their services are integral in the test and development labs of major storage hardware and software vendors globally, spanning telecom, defense, and various other applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Spearhead the identification of key accounts, influencers, and decision-makers within targeted markets.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships, comprehend customer pain points, and articulate tailored value propositions.
Sales Cycle Management: Generate quotes, craft proposals, and facilitate deal closures in line with established quotas.
Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to drive sales strategies.
Customer Engagement: Conduct on-site visits and virtual meetings, delivering compelling presentations to drive sales objectives.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of proven success in sales engineering, preferably in the storage, networking, or semiconductor industries.
NVMe Background: Deep understanding of NVMe technologies and their application within storage systems.
Sales Acumen: Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strategic approach to business development.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to customer sites along the East Coast as required.
