　　10nm and smaller device dimensions and their corresponding patterning processes demand factory etch tools perform within tolerances far tighter than prior technologies. Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) is element of equipment sustaining that has taken on a larger priority with this transition in etch. The philosophy of FDC is to drive consistent tool performance by closely monitoring analytics generated against sensors data streams collected while wafers process. The analytics are scrutinized against 1) the performance of other equipment and 2) said reactors own historical healthy performance.

　　Historically the etch department has not managed a global strategy in its management of FDC. The explosion of etch layers in 10nm+ coupled with the need for more FDC elegance is prompting creation of etch internal FDC development team with several core responsibilities:

　　Partner with etch layer owners to deploy FDC that meets core etch standards across wide variety of dry etch equipment vendors. The E3 development will be done using industry standard E3 software.

　　Expand the use of FDC analytics in support of prediction of key downstream performance metrics.

　　Qualifications

　　You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or applied physics, or other STEM degrees.Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience interacting with large datasets via scripting languages such as Python.Inside this Business Group
