About Document Management Specialist

Description

Walnut Creek Insurance Company is looking for an onsite temporary Document Management Specialist.

In this Document Management position, you will be responsible for the following:

• Review initial submission of documents received via email and sort for processing

• Reviews scanned images of paper mail – label/title them per company standards

• Research- investigates docs without a claim number

o New claims get sent to First Report Specialist

o Unidentifiable docs sent to customer care or other internal depts for review

• Quality assurance of scanned images and confirms valid claim number. Rejects and notifies the sender of scans not up to standard

• Assigns documents to correct claim number by checking/reviewing multiple data fields

• Data entry – enter image summary and document information (DOS and doc type) into SIMS (Claims mgmt. system)

• Miscellaneous projects

• Fast paced, High volume work environment – we’re a paperless company

• Emphasis: Speed and accuracy of indexing documents to their correct claims

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Document Management Specialist or in a similar role

• Proficient in Quality Assurance procedures to ensure all documents meet the required standards

• Skilled in Proofreading to identify and correct errors in documents

• Experience in Project Documentation, ensuring all project-related documents are well-managed and organized

• Ability to handle Email Correspondence efficiently and professionally

• Proficient in Data Entry, ensuring accurate and timely input of information into the system

• Strong Research skills to gather necessary information for document preparation

• Ability to Upload Documents in different platforms as required

• Computer Proficient, able to use various software and applications related to document management

• Deadline Oriented, able to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. TalentMatch®
