Position: Document Control Specialist
Location: Northern, NJ (on-site)
Description:
Create part numbers from SAP, request from engineer
Assign part numbers on SAP
Write materials on SAP
Create bill of materials when they are ready
Info from engineering, create BOM if they aren't in system
Create/maintain for change orders
Read engineering drawings -to be able to interpret the information for part numbering and creating "BOM" (bill of materials)
Be able to look at drawing and look at bill of materials to identify different part types that are within drawings to create SAP numbers
Working with Production Planner, Director of Ops and Director of Engineering
Qualifications:
SAP Experience or similar software
Experience working with bill of materials
Experience in manufacturing industry
