  Summary:

  The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Specialist reports directly to the Director of the DEIB Dept. The role supports the execution of DEIB initiatives through advanced project management, analysis, research, facilitation and program development/management. This HYBRID (on-site and virtual) PART-TIME role (approx. 20 hours/week) involves collaboration with leaders/team members, coordination of activities, and support to Employee Resource Groups and the Ambassador Program. The role requires candidates with years of DEIB knowledge and experience and high emotional intelligence. Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and working independently are necessary. This role performs various duties that supports AC’s commitment to creating and nurturing a culture of inclusion and belonging for all of AC’s patients, families and team members.

  Description

  In consultation with leadership, develops, designs, and maintains diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion program objectives to support organizational goals.

  Provides thought partnership and logistical support to various and diverse groups and initiatives including coordinating and facilitating meetings, helping to plan and execute events/programs, developing action plans and driving accountability within the groups.

  Develops, curates, updates and sends relevant, professional content for internal communication, the quarterly DEI newsletter, intranet pages, and other team member-facing communications.

  Collects and tracks metrics and data that measure the effectiveness/outcomes of programs and activities, including conducting/analyzing employee surveys, interviews, focus groups, and managing participation using a learning management system.

  Provides recommendations based on best practices, research, and changes to micro/macro trends and/or employee needs and preferences.

  Collaborates with all HR departments to achieve the organization’s talent acquisition goals.

  Assists in the planning, communication and execution of the DEI efforts (programs, initiatives, activities) utilizing above average proficiency with MS Office software suite, a learning management system (LMS), HRIS, MS Teams, virtual meeting software, etc.

  Oversees collaboration with Employee Resource Groups and the ERG Academy.

  Manages existing and new projects/programs that support Arkansas Children's Culture of Inclusion (COI).

  Facilitates/Leads DEI related small group discussions, debriefs, breakout rooms related to DEI content

  Other Duties as assigned.
