The Opportunity
The Talent Acquisition Director is a member of the Global Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, working across the enterprise, this person will provide strategic talent acquisition direction and execution to MetLife leadership hiring teams. While aligned to specific global functions and/or lines of business based on subject matter expertise, the Director is expected to be agile and capable of providing talent solutions based on organizational needs across the US. This person will play a significant role in developing strategic recruiting and sourcing strategies for niche high demand/low supply roles globally, attracting and hiring top talent at all levels. S/he will meet MetLife’s key strategic objectives today and, in the future, – people who represent our values and bring a rich diversity of skills, talents, and backgrounds.
How You’ll Help Us Build a More Confident Future
Lead and manage a recruiting team to develop strategic plans that deliver on workforce needs, placing top talent and promoting the brand as an employer of choice.
Partner with functional leaders to drive strategic and tactical recruitment initiatives, identifying critical talent needs and developing pipeline programs.
Enhance and leverage brand recognition by advertising through multiple channels, ensuring a strong social/professional media presence.
Drive operational and process efficiency as well as continuous improvement through workflow automation and accountability model; develop and report on key metrics.
Direct recruitment for highly specialized and high-profile roles
Key Relationships:
· Reports to Head of Talent Acquisition
· # Direct reports: 5-7
· Key Stakeholders: Business Leaders, Talent Acquisition team; HRBPs supporting client teams
What you Need to Succeed:
· 10+ years of professional recruiting experience with demonstrated success in developing, driving, and executing talent sourcing and acquisition strategies.
· 3+ years managing a recruiting and sourcing team.
· Ability to understand and communicate market trends and provide value-added perspective on how best to source and attract talent.
· Outstanding project and process management skills; highly organized, process driven, detail orientated.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Salary Range
$120,000 - $150,000 salary plus bonus eligible, and benefits. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
