　　Chart is actively seeking a Director of Procurement - Americas to lead our American Supply Chain team.

　　Candidates should reside close to our Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA locations but will consider candidates that reside close to any of our facilities in the US.

　　Drive rapid improvement in operational supply chain performance across the Americas region.

　　To develop & implement a long-term scalable operational procurement model covering end to end supply chain

　　Create & implement best practice purchasing process, policies, & procedures to optimize performance.

　　Work cross functionally with operations, engineering, and sales to develop systems and processes to meet customer needs.

　　What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

　　Drive rapid improvement in all SC key performance indicators, including OTD, Inventory positioning, lead time, tactical procurement efficiency & supplier capacity

　　Implement standard operational procurement processes (P2P) that can address backlog

　　Create fulfilment models to meet operational demand planning

　　Drive inventory strategy utilizing PFEP across all sites

　　Deploy a supplier management plan across all sites and drive continuous improvement in On time delivery

　　Ensure supply base has ample capacity and resilience to meet current backlog

　　Identify potential risks and collaborate with strategic team to mitigate and manage

　　Liaise with IT to enable the business to fully utilize MRP with engineering & operations

　　Partner with Sales and Proposals to create a SIOP roadmap across products

　　Assess functional competency and resourcing, & create a roadmap to improve

　　Provide functional leadership, coaching, & development for all site procurement team members

　　Americas Region - Annual spend $800MM - $1 BN, 30 key sites

　　Your Education Should Be…

　　Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or similar

　　MBA is preferred

　　Your Professional Experience Should Be…

　　10 years progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics in an Manufacuring Environment.

　　Experience with Demand Planning software, preferably JDE

　　Excellent inter-personal and communication skills at all levels, written and verbal

　　Extensive experience developing and implementing procurement process & procedure for Engineering to Order and flow manufacturing businesses

　　Experience of working in a complex matrix organisation across multiple geographical locations, understanding the constraints and working culture within them

　　Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results

　　Experience of leading an operational procurement function

　　Ability to execute Lean projects & Kaizens

　　Knowledge of general business processes with experience in managing large projects & initiatives
