We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead Cribl Stream, aremote-first, diverse and cross-functional team of Engineers responsiblefor unlocking the machine data that fuels our platform. This is a fullyremote, hands-on leadership role where you will balance responsibilitiesthat span people management while staying closely involved in thedesign, development, testing and release of our products. Your primaryrole is to help your team reach its maximum potential through mentorshipand project direction; thus helping the team overcome any challengesthey encounter.

As an active member of our team you will:

Build, coach, mentor and grow a cross functional scrum team ofexceptional engineers adept at building large-scale machine dataprocessing applications.Set a bar for technical excellence in product development with focuson design, robustness, and quality of code.Lead the team in driving and implementing projects from ideaformulation, design, implementation, and testing.Foster a "customer first" mindset by aligning the team towardoutcomes that will delight our clientsCollaborate with other leaders to drive alignment between crossfunctional teams within the company.Establish a strong partnership with product management and productoperations team members to refine, prioritize and execute theproduct roadmap.If you've got it - we want it:

Demonstrated experience leading multiple distributed teams ofengineers spanning a full stack of back and front end technologies.Previous hands on experience in building system integrations with abackground either in backend or full stack software development.Experience building and deploying software in a SaaS environment isa big plusExperience hiring, training, and mentoring high performing engineersto fulfill all aspects of software development and maintenance.Experience leading fully remote engineering teams in a fast-paced,Agile environment is a big plusExperience working directly with customers when troubleshootingtechnical issues and/or collaboration on feature enhancements.Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices andprocessesBS CS/EE or equivalent practical experience with 10+ years ofindustry experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadershiproleSalary Range ($235,000 - $285,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salaryoffered within the range described will be based on the individualca didate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
