  Director Quant Development

  The Role

  As a Director, Quantitative Technology Development, you will be a hands-on individual contributor playing a key role in defining and developing technology products to solve research problems for investment professionals and senior management executives. You will distill abstract research-oriented problems to technology solutions and execute them quickly. You will be collaborating with other technology team members in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will build scalable, reliable and highly available technology solutions based on engineering best practices in areas such as portfolio construction, risk management, and alpha research.

  The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  7+ years' hands on experience in Quant development..Highly skilled with Python (Design, Develop, Test, Debug, Deploy)Object Oriented development experienceExperience working with SQL (Oracle and/ or Snowflake)Experience deploying solutions to AWS cloud environment and proven understanding of CI/CD & DevOpsFamiliarity with Fixed Income investment management domain is highly preferred.Exposure to test automation frameworks (unit & integration)Experience with UI development with Angular & RESTful APIs is a plusExperience using agile development practices.Experience with numerical-analysis software such as MATLAB and R is a plus.Degree in a computational field such as Computer ScienceFocus on delivering customer value in a challenging environment.Understand and adapt to changing business priorities.Strong knowledge of technology trends in implementing business application

  The Team

  Asset Management Technology (AMT) provides worldwide technology and support to all the Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions. We are seeking a Director, Software Engineer to join our Quantitative Research & Investing Technology organization. This role will be part of our Quantitative Engineering team, which is responsible for delivering & maintaining solutions for supporting Systematic Fixed Income Quant Research team.

  The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$218,000 per year.

  Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

  Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
