Job Description
Directs, plans, organizes and evaluates project management staff and activities for various service lines related to Digital Access initiatives. Collaborates with multiple work groups, system laboratories, billing, clinicians, Information Services, and vendor implementation teams to meet project objectives. Provides strategic, functional, operational, and technical direction to execute projects. Manages critical project issues/risks.
Job Responsibility
Leads a Project Management group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
Directs project efforts to manage multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change; directs the design, testing, planning, and implementation of complex system projects.
Manages team assignments to maximize growth opportunities for individuals; monitors progress against planned activity and work plans, and surfacing issues; manages the team's production of detailed requirements for business areas.
Manages resources (internal and external) effectively to mitigate risks; utilizes a network of relationships to collect and disseminate information, build support, and secure buy-in for desired objective.
Collaborates directly with business process owners on the implementation of projects, including business process re-design, policies, procedures, documentation, and system enhancements; educates business owners on internal controls and provides expert consultation on financial control issues and solutions to mitigate risk.
Develops project metrics to communicate internally and externally; identifies, develops, and initiates innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist.
Conducts regularly scheduled project consulting meetings to communicate project status and timelines; selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.
Provides mentoring, coaching and direction setting to team members; provide technical and/or functional design guidance to facilitate project team work efforts.
Identifies educational needs for department staff development.
Analyzes impact of proposed solutions on personnel, processes, technology and strategy; monitors expected outcomes of project goals and objectives to satisfy stakeholder requirements.

Job Qualification
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
Prior healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Prior experience with EPIC and/or Salesforce, preferred
