This isa role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step intheir career. As a Director of Medical Imaging Site Planning, y ou will be responsible to :
Manage planningdepartment, including maintaining a Service Level Agreement for drawinglead-time and quality metrics. Anticipate planning peaks to ensure thatlead times are maintained and minimize impact to overall organization.
Drive the developmentof accurate equipment site preparation drawing packages, including coordinationwith Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical, for customer sites.
Drive improvements inoverall planning processes and structure.
Manage drawing qualitypeer-to-peer review process.
Champion emergingtechnologies such as 3D modeling, BIM, AR/VR in a healthcare design andconstruction space.
Create, utilize, andmaintain central dashboard for reporting planning metrics, quality, and otherkey indicators.
Ensure the retentionof all key project information for permanent reference in Project Archives
Lead specialassignments or projects as required.
Evaluate resource andtraining needs and develop short and long term training plans for all employees
Resolution of customer and installation issuesincluding detailed requests from local Regulatory agencies (SeismicRequirements/OSHPD/ADA/FGI/AHCA).
Maintain planningresources (typical drawings, cutsheets, etc.) on internal portal to ensureaccuracy and availability for field resources.
Develop and maintainpositive, collaborative, working relationships with field project managementand sales teams.

This position isresponsible for the leadership of the Siemens Site Planning Department which provides our external customers with site specific preparationspecifications for systems in support of modality sales, focused on logistics,installations, and construction.
The Director of USASite Planning will oversee a team of modality planning principles, siteplanners, and planning scheduling manager, across the United States. Thecandidate will ensure the department is meeting key production metrics, qualitymeasures, field coordination, and maintain industry leading excellence.
This role will reportto the Head of the Project Management Organization (PMO) and will provide siteplanning support for the Solution Implementation and Sales Organizations forSiemens Medical Equipment.
Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role
BS/BA in relateddiscipline and 12 years experience in healthcare design and construction,medical equipment/life science planning, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience
Professional know-howand experience in managing a team of subject matter experts. Transfers andapplies know-how to/in various contexts.
Improves existingprocesses and approaches.
Proactively sharesknowledge within own team (incl. virtual & matrix team).
Impact on results inown area.
Advanced managementunderstanding in order to lead and align employees in different workflowsand/or projects organization environment.
Understands symbolicarchitectural, structural, electrical and mechanical elements of equipment
Understands basicelectrical and power-related references and terms
Knowledge of FGIstandards and application in relation to medical equipment installation.
Extensive experienceworking with matrixed teams, customers, and contractors
Experience withinstallation of multi-modality medical equipment.
Intermediateunderstanding of construction, electrical and mechanical engineering
Knowledge andExperience in the use of CAD for medical equipment or life scienceapplications.
Knowledge of SeismicRequirements/OSHPD/ADA/FGI/AHCA from a planning and design perspective.
Ability to travel upto 20%
