rAbout This Role:
The College of Arts and Sciences at Kansas State University is seekingto fill a full-time position of Director of Recruitment. The inauguralDirector of Recruitment will lead the development and implementation ofan effective recruitment strategy and activities for all undergraduateprograms in the college with a focus on yield and long-term will help tocoordinate recruitment efforts at the graduate level. The Director ofRecruitment works closely with the college\'s departments and reports tothe Associate Dean for Student Success, Engagement and UndergraduateStudies.
Responsibilities/Distribution of Effort:
Develops and implements recruitment strategy, in conjunction withAssoc Dean for Student Success, Engagement and Undergraduate StudiesOversees and coordinates College representation with universitypartners (especially ORA) and internal partners (academic units) aswell as coordinates work for onboarding incoming students withStudent Services and Assoc Dean for Student Success (example, NewStudent Orientation)Supervises recruitment coordinator and develops on-campus eventswith recruitment coordinator, Assistant Dean of Diversity,Recruitment and Retention, College Events Coordinator and Directorof Communication and Marketing as neededStrategizes external outreach in conjunction with Assoc Dean forStudent Success, academic units, and ORA with a focus on expandingand increasing enrollment and yield .Why Join Us:

Bachelor\'s degree and five to ten years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:
Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating recruitmentprogramsRecord of success in increasing enrollment targets or in recruitmentplanningExperience or expressed interest in developing a data-informedstrategic plan related to enrollment and recruitment in highereducation context nd specifically with regard to a College of Arts& SciencesExperience working with high school students and/or college studentProficient in technologies such as Slate, Navigate, and PowerBIExperience supervising othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability tobuild and maintain relationshipsMust be available to work evenings and some weekendsCommitment to understanding one\'s own experiences and perspectivesas well as the experiences and perspectives of diverse others in aneffort to cultivate strong relationships and collaboration.Other Requirements:
