The Regional Director of Organizational Learning and Development serves as a crucial strategic and operational partner, change agent and valued advisor. Responsible for developing and leading comprehensive methods to monitor the execution of multiple and interrelated learning programs and top learning initiatives. Drives talent, technology and organizational strategies that help achieve business goals and objectives. Partners closely and provides integrated thinking with business partners and learning leaders across all corporate functions and regions to determine design elements and technologies that yield innovative, engaging and compelling learning experiences that reflect the strategic learning initiatives prioritized. In partnership with the Regional CPO, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing the organizational driven learning standards strategy. This individual must have the mental agility to be both a strategic thinker and a tactical leader, capable of understanding and communicating alignment of initiatives as well as project timeline and objectives, value propositions and resource requirements.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Aligns development, management and execution of critical initiatives with ongoing tracking, progress/milestone accountability and reporting to various constituents that support the strategic initiatives identified by the Regional CPO.
· Develops and oversees internal professional development programs, prioritizing escalation, ensuring timeline visibility, transferring knowledge and shares best practices concerning learning across the region.
· Manages and supports the assessment of organizational needs by identifying trends and leveraging complex data from various sources to understand gaps, needs and risks.
· Facilitates the advancement of strategic learning initiatives by structuring complex issues into phased workstreams and deliverables.
· Stays informed on industry trends through internal and external research, data analysis and synthesis.
· Develops and clearly communicates findings, considerations and recommendations to enhance organizational learning and development resources.
· Leads, coordinates, executes, facilitates and monitors performance outcomes and participant utilization to evaluate effectiveness of programs.
· Establishes metrics for accountability and tracks utilization of learning programs.
· Provides strategic consulting, nurturing alliances and bridging gaps in learning and development strategies to support leaders and teams.
· Ensures project goals and objectives are achieved within the project scope and timeline established.
· Develops processes for continuous improvement partnering closely with the Regional CPO related to the maintenance of program evaluation.
· Collaborates with Leadership Institute, AdventHealth and Heritage Universities, all markets and other stakeholder groups to execute strategic learning objectives while aligning work and roles to ensure implementation and alignment.
· Maintains professional knowledge of innovative and current practices in learning science, career development and technology through research, analysis and participation in professional development.
· Enhances the organization’s learning culture by incorporating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Master’s degree in Learning, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Healthcare OR related field
Three years of progressive management experience leading teams and individuals to high performance
One year as a master facilitator
Preferred:
Seven years’ experience with curriculum development, corporate learning or adult education
Five years’ management experience
Certified Master Facilitator (CMF)
Certified in at least one recognized assessment tool (i.e. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DiSC Behavioral Assessment, etc.); OR
Certified in two or more leadership development programs, OR Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) through the Association for Talent Development (ATD)
Project Management Certification (PMP), Change Management, or Certified Professional in Talent Development (APTD/CPTD)
Certification as a leadership coach
