　　Responsibilities

　　For Student Affairs:

　　Oversee student admission, academic progress, and graduation

　　Evaluate student progress based on the ADN Nursing Program philosophy and objectives

　　For Faculty:

　　Interview, select, and onboard qualified nursing faculty

　　Supervise and assess program faculty, including in-class evaluations

　　For Program Development:

　　Provide valuable feedback on course materials, practice changes, and student achievement

　　Lead Program Advisory Board meetings

　　Professional Development:

　　Stay current through continued education programs and academic courses

　　Encourage staff and faculty professional growth through the same avenues

　　Qualifications

　　Education and Qualifications:

　　Master of Science degree in Nursing is required

　　Current unrestricted registered nurse license in Virginia

　　Experience:

　　Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience, enabling leadership and role responsibilities

　　Two years of full-time experience as a faculty member in an approved nursing program

　　A minimum of two calendar years of prior full-time employment (or equivalent) in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse
