　　Position Summary:

　　Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management, responsible for the supervision of the Financial Clearance department. The Director of Financial Clearance is ultimately responsible for ensuring the necessary authorizations and referrals, are in place for all SHC patients. Collaborates with various departments, across SHC, implementing process improvement to mitigate authorization/referral denials. Develops/approves policies and procedures within appropriate regulatory guidelines. Discusses changes to policies with senior director prior to implementing.
