To advance and strengthen Genesis Prep Academy through communications,marketing, public relations and fundraising.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Build and maintain cooperative relationships with parents, students,Real Life Ministries, and the public.
Support and empower other GPA team members in all facets of school lifeas needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to the financial andpersonal records of all employees and families of the school.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to thefollowing:
Fundraising
Design, develop and implement Capital Campaign with goals and deadlines.
Build relationships with and show appreciation to those who give time,talent, and treasure to the school.
Create a positive culture of stewardship and cultivate/maintain donorrelations.
Work with the Head of School, Board of Directors, and AdministrativeDirector of Finance & Business Operations in formulating annual goals atGPA to fund the precise vision expansion needs of the school.
Develop and design a comprehensive annual plan for the raising of fundsthrough individuals, corporations, businesses, and foundations.
Prepare/complete annual calendar of fund raising activities/events.
Collaborate with the Administrative Director of Finance & BusinessOperations to create a plan to then execute for the financing for abuilding campaign.
Timely and regularly report to the Head of School, AdministrativeDirector of Finance & Business Operations, Finance Committee, and Boardof Directors.
Maintain an existent donor management system. This system should ensuretimely acknowledgement of all donations and establish a system foridentifying who should acknowledge gifts at various giving levels.
Create and grow the schools endowment fund.
Inform stakeholders of the tax advantages of Charitable Donations to theschool.
Seek out, solicit and prepare proposals for foundations and othergrant-giving organizations (ie. Corporate Matches).
Organize and manage project-based and capital improvement campaigns, asneeded.
Attend continuing education and advancement opportunities that involveschool development.
Plan and facilitate activities/occasions which will put administrators,GPA Board of Directors, and others in contact with present andprospective donors i.e Grandparents Day, Gala, Town Hall Meetings, Lunch& Learn Events, etc.
Participate in local service and networking organizations in an attemptto build relationships with community members and businesses.
Marketing
Create weekly & quarterly newsletter publications to send to staff andstakeholders.
Create graphics for all school needs.
Manage all external communications serving as the liaison/spokespersonto stakeholders.
Create weekly newsletters and announcements and responsible to send toGPA families.
Update and manage email communication softwares (ie. MailChimp).
Supervise all school social media accounts i.e. instagram and facebook.
Manage school social media accounts and GPA website.
Manage the JAG Store i.e inventory, purchases, promotion/sales.
Oversight of all branding, including athletics.
Create all school marketing materials.
Collaborate with the Head of School and Administrative OperationsDirector to create a strategic school-wide marketing plan.
Collaborate with the Admissions Coordinator to create an admissionsmarketing plan.
Coordinate advertising with local media outlets.

Your compensation package includes specifics regarding each of thefollowing: Status, Compensation, Term, Personal Days, Holidays, andTuition consideration.
WORK SCHEDULE:
The Director of Development is a 12 month position. In the summerm nths, changes of hours and schedule will be indicated in theemployment contract.
Please refer to the Employment Offer for the start and end dates for theacademic year and staff work days before and after school year. Thisincludes any make-up days necessary due to weather closures during thecourse of the year.
For the academic year there will be a four day school week in whichclasses are in session (M-TH). The workday of the staff will be thirtyminutes before the starting times for their respective classes. TheGenesis Prep typical school week is Monday - Thursday.
One Friday per month will be devoted to a staff development meeting asneeded.
