The Director of Business Excellence is a growth-oriented and highly organized RCM team member that partners closely with our Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management and their team to coordinate strong alignment and accountability across the organization for priority initiatives. From day one, the Director of Business Excellence will be able to make an immediate impact on the execution of our short and long-term initiatives in terms of streamlining, productivity, strategic projects, and communication between departments.
As part of the RCM leadership team, working across all RCM functions (Authorization, Verification, Coding and Quality Assurance, Billing, and Cash Posting) the Director of Business Excellence will ensure roadmaps are executed, constantly assessing risks and opportunities, and implementing solutions that drive value.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage day-to-day transformation projects within the RCM organization; developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications.
Assist in financial analysis of transformation projects and ensure projects fit within budget or funds are allocated to support high priority items
Assist in managing internal work streams and processes: prepare agendas, take notes, assign action items, support with meeting prep, and create a decision-making framework.
Lead with end goal in mind and assist with identifying and action planning around change management items that will impact organization.
Partner closely with the VP of RCM, providing exceptional project management to key business initiatives, acting as a sounding board, and assisting in transforming the RCM

Position requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience, prefered Master's Degree
8+ years of Revenue Cycle Management experience and knowledgeable about key areas within RCM (Authorization, Coding, and Billing)
Experience in management consulting or business operations
Proven ability and experience in building, implementing, and scaling processes, projects, and programs from the ground up.
Experience pulling, compiling, and reporting on various types of critical data via multiple different tools to a variety of audiences, strong ability to synthesize data & analytics.
Ability to quickly learn and understand the business and then advise team on cross functional impacts
Strong ability to dive in and understand the motivations of various stakeholders, establishing high levels of trust with others.
