  We are seeking a Director to join our National Tax practice. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment, while providing clients with exceptional services. This individual both receive on-site training and mentorship, along with opportunities for advancement and growth.

  Research and consult on domestic federal income tax advisory and transactional matters

  Contribute to Firm-wide tax trainings

  Manage, train and develop staff. Participate in the performance review process

  Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues and the client to provide superior client service

  Contribute to business development efforts by working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionalsBasic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field

  CPA is required

  10 + years of supervisory experience

  20 + years of progressive tax consulting and/or tax compliance experience

  Substantive experience in multiple domestic federal income tax areas, including partnerships, S corporations, and general transaction advisory

  Familiarity with tax research databases (such as Bloomberg BNA and RIA Checkpoint)Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation, OR Master's Degree in Tax or Accounting

  Experience working with federal income taxation of financial products and accounting methods

  For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between199780and312156The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
