Position Summary: Plan the overall supply/demand flow of the business through the use of IT tools, Business Processes and Statistical analysis to achieve industry leading lead times and on time customer service levels with a corresponding high inventory turn rate to meet Financial budgets on a cash flow basis. Support Finance by reporting revenue through forecast as well as facilitating alignment through leading Sales and Operations planning. Balance second source suppliers to ensure business risk mitigation and also maximize Gross Profit through active management of supply choices at the SKU, Subassembly, piece part and logistics on a global basis. To facilitate and mentor the Operations planning team in continuous improvements in process and strategic business moves. Position Responsibilities: Manage the SIOP reporting and Executive meetings. Understanding business process management and business requirements and translate them into Atlas and Oracle. Oversees data collection and conducts organizational reviews to identify the business's strengths and weaknesses and evaluate operational effectiveness. Strong functional skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of business needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements. Leads the research of emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, and the viability of outside business partners. Provide leadership in all phases of a project life cycle implementation, gap analysis, mapping, testing, and business process development. Provide coaching and training to the user community. Develops recommendations for internal business process improvement. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Provide direct leadership and coaching to Operations planning and Purchasing teams. Develop People - grow and enhance existing leadership capability and acquire talent necessary to achieve results. Designs and executes methods to track and measure organizational performance data to use for planning. Deliver superior product availability metrics in terms of industry leading lead time (short/flexible) Achieve financial budget expectations with regard to Inventory Grow the Planning and Purchasing function to include regional execution in NA Provide leadership and performance metrics in the Quarterly Business Reviews of Suppliers Supports Lean Business Enterprise initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.
