  National Grid is hiring a Director, Digital Transformation for our Customer Transformation department in Brooklyn, NY.

  Job Purpose

  To drive and develop our Digital Transformation Strategy, build digital capabilities, and execute and deliver digital transformation initiatives that drive a step change in operational efficiency and improved customer experiences.

  Key Accountabilities

  Responsibilities (including, and not limited to):

  * Define and communicate the Product Portfolio Vision, Strategy and ROI

  * Serve as the liaison between the product team and the company's stakeholders at the Porfolio Level.

  * Build digital capabilities and establish standards for lean and agile product development process and ideation

  * Manage portfolio budget, risks, and resource allocation

  * Maintain strong working relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities to drive/support loyalty, revenue and growth outcomes.

  * Ensure digital solutions are meeting portfolio goals (e.g. payback, benefits, etc.) and aligned with strategic objectives

  * Validate new investment opportunities, business case, and value tracking metrics to optimize on ROI

  Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

  * Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, experience communicating at the Executive Level

  * Demonstrated ability to develop high performing teams

  * Strong ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment

  Qualifications

  * 7-10 years driving a portfolio of digital and agile inititiaves

  * Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree within discipline preferred

  * Influential, energetic and enthusiastic business leader, with the drive, ambition and resilience to make things happen and deliver outstanding performance

  * Experience managing resources and activities focused on delivering superior operational performance and continuous improvement
