To continue this trajectory, we are searching for a Director, Commercial Readiness to work directly with the senior leadership team. The incumbent will have an immediate impact on our capabilities to grow, operate effectively and efficiently, and lift the capabilities of the entire team. This is targeted to be completed through ensuring optimal readiness for the commercial organization in form of streamlining value creations initiatives, onboarding, trainings, business management and operations, capability adoption, guiding critical objectives, continuous change, and risk management. The risk is in relation to our objectives, goal, strategies and measures, and includes onboarding the best talent, driving strategic initiatives, guiding critical objectives from conception to completion, overseeing program management, and ensure overall communicating and outcome management with the teams. The successful candidate will have proven success in a business management, operations, or human resource role, with a special focus on senior-level advising, project management, interdepartmental collaboration, and the ability to look ahead and foresee challenges. This role will report directly to the President, Chief Commercial Officer.
Objectives of this role:
Build focus across the team to ensure continuous objective and goal attainment.Oversee value creation business initiatives, from ideation over development through successful execution, including managing KPIs, in partnership with senior leaders.Engage with senior leaders in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation to holistically enable the commercial team.Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational capabilities; find knowledge and skills gaps and address them by developing specific proposals to build the technical capabilities of the entire organization.Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures as a platform for growth leveraging high efficiency and productivity across commercial structures. Time to productivity is of essence.
The purpose of this role is to plan, coordinate and manage the activities related to business readiness, education, and adoption across multiple global commercial projects to deliver the platform for sustainable attainment of objectives and goals. This role is responsible for ensuring the success of projects by leading all readiness activities and ensuring the business delivering against performance expectations and are prepared for the changes, as well as creating materials to support the user experience once the change is implemented.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Liaise with staff, management, senior leaders, and President regarding improvements to work processes, project updates, proposals, and planning.Define, build, and develop key business unit objectives, goals, strategies and by working with President and alongside other senior leaders (e.g., Value Creation Initiatives, M&A).Translate high-level goals into a workable strategy and delegating responsibilities to key stakeholders.Monitori and improve staff efficiency and productivity, while reducing barriers and impediments to progress.Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications including managing the most efficient meeting structure to make this happen.Work across multiple projects and with a wide variety of senior stakeholders across the business, to drive business and customer readiness activities, supporting stakeholders in adopting new changes, and collaborating closely with others to deploy information and gather feedback.Responsible for scoping, planning and scheduling business readiness activities.Responsible for ensuring all stakeholders are ready to use, support, adopt and exploit new technology platforms and processes from release through to evolution.Supporting on the resolution of readiness and adoption related risks and issues.Ensuring that business readiness and adoption activities are built into the governance frameworks for change delivery.
QualificationsRequired skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR or related and applicable field of study.Ten or more years of experience in a business management, commercial, HR or related and applicable relevant working experience.Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments to operate successfully.Prior commercial training is preferredExperience in departmental planning, large scale project management and leading strategic initiatives.Experience integrating new teams, processes, and M&A management.Execution of long-term strategic goals and ensuring timely progress.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity.
