　　DIRECTOR, ANNUAL GIVING, Sloan School of Management-Office of External Relations, to manage the annual giving team (four staff) and devise and lead the overall strategy and annual plans for the MIT Sloan Annual Fund/comprehensive annual giving program. Will serve as the Annual Giving point of contact/representative within MIT Advancement/the MIT Alumni Association/Recording Secretary's Office, oversee executive board and alumni board solicitation strategies, manage the Dean's Circle (annual leadership society) program, and create solicitation plans for all managed and unmanaged prospects in concert with relationship managers; identify, recruit, and manage key volunteer leaders of the MIT Sloan Annual Fund; and carry a portfolio of current and potential leadership annual fund donors and solicit for MIT Sloan Annual Fund gifts of $10,000-250,000. 　　Job Requirements

　　REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least seven years of related experience; at least three years of experience supervising staff, managing performance, setting goals, and managing budgets; strong oral and written communication skills; familiarity and experience working with databases and spreadsheets; detail-orientation; and experience working with volunteers. PREFERRED: experience working for an educational organization; and understanding of the case for unrestricted, immediate-use giving.
