The Home Assistance Programs offer daily assistance with the physical and social needs of elders and disabled adults living in designated housing units.  For persons at risk of institutionalization, the Home Assistance Programs (HAP) provide important community living options that recognize and preserve the independence and good health of persons requiring supervision.  Care is provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other professionally trained direct care aids.  

　　Our Home Assistance Program is currently looking for part time direct care aids (CNA/HHA) in the Taunton, MA area.  We are offering up 25 flexible hours per week, Monday - Sunday 7am - on, will vary. Day time shifts only.

　　Job Duties:

　　Direct Care Aids monitor the placement status in the home and provides assistance with participant's daily living needs as directed by a plan of care ensuring that personal care services are provided on a daily basis.

　　Duties may include: cleaning and general housekeeping, assist with shopping, provide on-going supervision of the participant's health related activities.

　　Education and Experience:

　　The ideal applicant must have successfully completed a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and/or Home Health Aide (HHA) training program and possess a certificate of course completion and/or a valid license.

　　Equivalent training or experience could be substituted for certification/licensure.

　　This position does not include benefits.
