POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the development of internal and external communication pieces to promote the Association's goals and objectives. II. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS A. Reports to: Communication Manager
III. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES A. Design digital media campaigns aligned with the Association's goals. B. Plans, develops, and publishes timely content for Dixie Electric and DE Fastlink's social media and web pages to include, but not limited to, member or public service announcements, community interest pieces, infographics, and upcoming events. Assists Communication Manager in responding to direct messages on social media. C. Provides continued enhancement to the Dixie Electric and DE Fastlink websites and SmartHub mobile app. Updates website content and SmartHub messaging monthly; develops new elements to enhance member engagement. D. Provides immediate information via multimedia on relevant news and other member-related information in the public as appropriate on an ongoing basis. E. Provide support to the communication department in the coordination and attendance of employee and community events. F. Develop and manage email marketing campaigns/mailings to engage members/subscribers. G. Assist communication manager in developing member communications including, but not limited to member handbooks, annual reports, public notices, pamphlets, brochures, Today in Mississippi and Dixie Digest articles, and media advertisements.A. Responsible for digital still and video photography. B. Responsible for the design and procurement of promotional items and apparel, maintaining a good working relationship with a wide variety of vendors, and negotiating favorable pricing of such items. All designs must be approved by communication manager, human resources supervisor and general manager. C. Serves as a member of the annual meeting team to process member voting and prize drawings and assists with room set up, refreshments and other event preparations for the annual membership meeting. D. Plans, purchases, and maintains inventory of specialty advertising, giveaway items. E. Creates graphics for the internal and external video boards. F. Prepares and designs the Monday memo. G.
