Job Description

We are looking for diesel/trailer mechanics to perform repairs on fuel tanker trucks and trailers and will be responsible for DOT inspections of trucks and tanker trailers. The position does not involve engine or transmission work, as all of that is under warranty. Mechanics must have their own tools, ideally a rolling tool box.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on components such as air compressors, fuel pumps, hubs, wheels, suspension, springs, and axles.

Inspect, repair, or replace domes, valves, vents, or other equipment as necessary.

Conduct DOT inspections of trucks and tanker trailers.

Utilize hand and power tools for trailer repairs.

Essential Skills

Experience with diesel and tanker trailers.

Basic mechanic skills.

Experience with DOT 406, 407, 412 tanker/cargo tanker.

High attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $58200.00/yr.
