　　Position Summary:

　　The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the safe execution of all maintenance on diesel machinery assigned to him/her on a daily basis. This entails the major and minor repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and adjustment of heavy equipment such as tractors, backhoe, and yard trucks.

　　Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

　　Make major and minor engine repairs, and work on a vehicle's electrical and exhaust systems to comply with pollution regulations

　　Detail-oriented with in-depth electronic and product specification knowledge.

　　Understanding of systems automation and how components interact.

　　Troubleshoots heavy equipment failures.

　　Knowledge of and ability to use various hand tools, lifting devices, and power tools.

　　Will be subject to bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting.

　　Qualifications

　　Diesel Mechanic certification preferred.

　　Supervisory Experience.

　　Knowledge and ability to safely and proficiently use a variety of hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.

　　Pay for this position will depend on level of experience and will be determined during interview.

　　Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
