About The OpportunityTo aid in the quick, efficient andaccurate production of materials by operating a die cutter. Thisapplication is to be considered for any Diecutter Operator openings inthe department in preparation for new equipment. Positions availableinclude 8hr 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, as well as, straight 12hr day shiftor 12 hr night shift. The following duties are normal for this position.The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties, however, it isnot an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.Demonstrates commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordancewith company safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates commitment toquality and performs job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines. Shouldbe aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearlydefined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, andquality systems. Understand job ticket information to determinequantity, special work instructions, and any other special customerrequirements. Determine the best manufacturing method to produce productefficiently and effectively. Set-up diecutter & tooling and operate diecutter. Be able to assist other operators on 2 person make readies.Maintain accurate counts (load and total counts). Be able to run balerand change bales as needed. Setup and make-ready of diecut, score,stripping, & blanking tooling if required. Maintain supplies fordepartment. Pull stock for job -- wind and jog stock if needed. Be ableto operate powered pallet equipment. Maintain high efficiency accordingto established rates during operation of the assigned equipment.Maintain quality of product produced by monitoring diecutting andcreasing and stripping of waste. Troubleshoot and make decisionsregarding the quality of finished product. Complete required qualityinspections and paperwork. Work with peers and other departments toimprove quality and performance.
