Description

　　Robert Half is assisting a leading investment management firm to hire for a full-time Desktop Support Analyst onsite in Boston. They are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy Desktop Support Analyst to join their team. This role provides high-level support towards the firm's overall productivity by supporting users and maintaining a high level of system reliability and availability. Being a part of an investment firm, you will be expected to deliver quick and effective solutions to our team's challenging IT problems.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Provide desktop/laptop support across the firm; troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

　　Complete ticket entries for all reported incidents and requests in the ticketing system.

　　Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and software issues in a Windows environment.

　　Provide assistance and training to end-users regarding hardware/software usage.

　　Maintain and deploy software updates and patches.

　　Monitor and handle scheduled backups of systems.

　　Assist in the implementation and support of cloud-based systems.

　　Cooperate closely with the IT team, providing feedback and taking direction.

　　Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, etc.

　　Requirements

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

　　At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

　　Profound knowledge of Windows environments, including Desktop and Server Operating Systems.

　　Experience with ticketing systems.

　　Excellent knowledge of IT protocols, cloud platform management, network management, and information security principles.

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

　　Self-starting individual with a desire to learn.

　　Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

　　Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
