About the Position: This position is located with DIRECTORATE OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT PRODUCTION ENGINEERING DIVISION; EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE BRANCH. Responsibilities Direct and plan the operations of an Industrial Equipment Maintenance and Test Equipment Maintenance production activity. Resolve maintenance contract issues and develop contracts to reduce quality production performance of the activity. Supporting the CIP through collecting technical data, using the Economic Analysis (EA) tool, and completing economic analyses, cost comparisons. Develop a strategic manpower plan that encompasses workforce attrition, replenishment, and training. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications (1) Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 1 year by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition. (2) Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 1 year, if candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.
