Job Title: General Dentist
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Conduct routine dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, addressing their dental needs and concerns.
Perform dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
Preventive Dentistry:
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
Administer fluoride treatments, dental sealants, and other preventive measures to ensure optimal oral health.
Treatment Planning:
Collaborate with the dental team to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients, considering both immediate and long-term oral health goals.
Communicate effectively with patients about treatment options, associated costs, and expected outcomes.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, procedures performed, and other relevant information.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Continuing Education:
Stay informed about advancements in dentistry, attend relevant conferences, and pursue ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Schedule Adherence:
Adhere to a full-time schedule, working Wednesday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Commitment to Growth:
Demonstrate enthusiasm for professional growth and a commitment to growing with the facility.
Actively participate in facility development initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
State dental license in good standing.
Strong clinical skills and proficiency in performing common dental procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
1-2 years of practical experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory.
Medicaid Certification is a must
