Why this job matters
The key purpose of this role is to take ownership of a part of a Digital Channels solutions delivery and release. This will include working with product owners and key stakeholders to gather new new requirements, arrange funding, schedule and support overnight releases.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will work independently but as part of an Agile Squad with some guidance when needed. You will ensure all new work for the team is tracked and monitored from conception to delivery, ensure that all releases are approved via the BT process and aligned with other team releases and has LVT support on the night. You'll also define, build and manage software environment, introducing new tools and new facilities to test hardware and software as appropriate.
Experience you'll have
IT-related degree or relevant practical experience of product service delivery.
Story-telling customer experience: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on user feeback and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences to drive better products and services.
Business acumen: Knowledgeable in strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases).
Have entensive experience of delivery and release lifecycles in a high availability environment.
Experience of delivering CRM systems for use in call centres would be advantageous.
Ideally member of a professional body e.g. Institution of Engineering and Technology.
