**Job descriptionComeaux Furniture, a well-established mid-size family-owned local furniture retailer, is in search of an experienced driver. Driver must have a current class A, B, C, or D license with a minimum 1-year driving experience and DOT medical Card. Must be able to lift 100 lbs., maintain 100% compliance with Federal and State DOT regulations, operate a 26' straight truck, load, unload and assemble furniture during deliveries.

　　SummaryThe Delivery Driver is primarily responsible making customer deliveries. This involves the moving and pulling of merchandise. Inspection of merchandise and processing of delivery tickets. This is a fulltime position.The work week is Tuesday - Saturday from 7:00am -until job is completed. 　　QualificationsThe Delivery Driver should possess communication skills, and work well with others

　　CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONSClass D or above Driver's License minimum 1 year driving experience and a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.

　　PHYSICAL DEMANDSVery heavy duty. Must be able to lift 125 lbs. without assistance. Must be able to walk up and downstairs without impediment.

　　WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work conditions encountered in this position require working in a warehouseenvironment.
