Great career opportunity exists at our Boddington site for a Engineer, Production Planning. As part of the Mine Operational Planning team the Engineer, Production Planning ensures the mine plan is executed to plan, making vital adjustments to the plan that are consistent with the objectives of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Generate, implement and reconcile the daily and weekly mine plan, ensuring alignment with the monthly mine plan.
Develop purposeful working relationships to engage key stakeholder groups including Mine Operations and Maintenance, Process Operations and Maintenance, FMS, Geology, Survey and Geotechnical.
Promote the plan, stimulate discussion and gather feedback in various formats, be able to justify and protect the team’s work. Plans will capture areas of concern or bottlenecks and mitigation steps to manage these.
Report on adherence to plan and communicate up to a Superintendent level.
Take a lead role within the day to day team, and be able to direct and review that day to day tasks will be completed.
Design and implement infrastructure, dump and stockpile, road maintenance, ramps and roads in accordance to LOM design, through field review and in conjunction with Mine Operations and drive compliance to site standards.

About You
We are looking for a qualified Mine Engineer (or similar) with experience in production engineering in open open-pit mining environment. A proven track record in delivering results to schedule and plan while having demonstrated a proactive commitment to a safe working environment will be of upmost importance.

highly effective communication skills across a wide range of disciplines
ability to develop strong working relationships to influence and gain collaboration to meet operational objectives
enjoyment working in a demanding, fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
