Key Responsibilities:
Data subject requests:
Reviewing incoming emails to determine what type of request is involved.
Progress Data Subject Rights requests within APPIAN
Send requests to application areas to take action based on standard templates and application lists.
Monitor the responses from those application areas against the scheduled deadline.
Chase application areas that have not responded
Assist in compiling reports on progress.
Plans and conducts DSR and personal data compliance training programs.
Conduct system onboarding training onto DSR process
Other administrative support in addressing Data Subject Requests as required from time to time.
Privacy Impact Assessment:
Conduct reviews of privacy impact assessments to identify and evaluate potential privacy risks associated with personal data processing activities.
Monitor the responses from project owners against the scheduled deadline.
Chase project owners that have not responded
Maintain procedures and assist in compiling reports.
Other administrative support
Review system onboarding and refresh assessment DSR procedure
Update Appian DSR contacts
It is desirable that the Data Privacy Support has Customer Service experience and experience of working in processes that face critical deadlines; in working collaboratively within fast-moving teams, and; in communicating with people who are overdue with tasks firmly but politely. Knowledge of Data Privacy (particularly GDPR) is beneficial, as is an understanding of the kinds of data that are considered to be Personal Data.
The Data Privacy Support will work with experts on Data Privacy, and with experts on the Elsevier application landscape, for some tasks.

Demonstrable experience of roles that required comparable skills.

Excellent team working and communication skills (in English)
Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills
Relevant Educational qualifications would be advantageous.
