Description We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to work in the non-profit industry at our location in Seal Beach, California. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity revolving around a data entry project. You will be involved in entering data into a new database, ensuring data accuracy, and following detailed instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data from paper profiles into a new database

• Ensure all entered data is accurate and error-free

• Liaise with an on-site proctor for any queries or issues

• Adhere to provided instructions for data entry procedures

• Participate in provided training sessions to understand the new system

• Monitor and maintain the database for updates and changes

• Provide necessary support in the implementation of the new gate entry program

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the project

• Resolve any discrepancies or errors in the data promptly

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection protocols. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within the non-profit sector.

• Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.

• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Efficient time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational level.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies or software related to data entry.

• Flexibility to work during non-business hours if required.
