Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in New Gloucester, Maine, 04260, United States. If you are a detail-oriented person with a keen eye for accuracy, this role could be for you. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting and managing student information with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate entry of data into the system.

• Utilizing tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to manage and organize files.

• Handling customer service duties, including resolving customer inquiries via email correspondence.

• Maintaining a high level of organization, including scanning and organizing files as necessary.

• Typing documents and correspondence as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Regularly reviewing data for errors and correcting any incompatibilities.

• Verifying and updating data by comparing it to source documents.

• Complying with data integrity and security policies.

• Regularly backing up data to ensure it doesn’t get lost.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills to respond to customer inquiries and issues

• Strong data entry skills to ensure accurate and efficient data input

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data organization, calculations, and reporting

• Experience with Microsoft Word for document creation and editing

• Ability to organize files digitally and physically for easy retrieval and reference

• Able to perform calculations accurately with attention to detail

• Experience with scanning documents and files into digital formats

• Proficient typing skills for efficient and accurate data entry and document creation
