We have an exciting opportunity open for a Data Collection Driver inEl Dorado, AR.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position drives advanced mobile leak detection equipment throughassigned areas to collect methane emissions data that is utilized byfield technicians and the companys Distribution Integrity Managementgroup. Identifies and works with the Supervisor of Data Collection, theManager of Advanced Leak Detections, and analyst on issues that arefound in the field.
***This position requires driving a data collection vehicle at night,8:00PM to 6:00AM. Schedule is subject to change. ***
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Measures methane emissions by operating advanced mobile leakdetection equipment predominantly at night.Accurately enters external data collection parameters to ensureequipment utilizes correct algorithms for calculations.Verifies proper equipment function and documents data collectiondrives to assure system safety and reliability.Plans daily route using maps and existing drive data to ensureeffective operation of the Data Collection technology and maximumfield-of-view coverage.Participates in the continuous improvement of data collectiontechnologies and methods.Observes, notes and reports irregularities of driving routes, datacollection equipment, and vehicle, to ensure supervision is aware ofany potential problems.Responds to our internal and external customers requests, questions,and concerns in a manner that meets customer expectations.Observes, documents, and communicates gas leaks or malfunctioning ofequipment and other hazardous conditions to ensure customer andemployee safety and compliance with company policy.Participates in training and cross training to increase jobknowledge and competency.Identifies equipment issues that need to be addressed.Able to maintain a valid Drivers License.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma.Requires 0-2 years of utility maintenance operations or equivalentexperience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Able to meet and maintain performance and attendance criteria for thejob.
Demonstrate thorough working knowledge of the policies, practices,procedures, and business processes supporting system leakage surveys.
